OFFER OF SCHOLARSHIPS BY INDIAN COUNCIL FOR CULTURAL RELATIONS( ICCR)
FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2025-26
TIMELINE

The Embassy of India, Buenos Aires is pleased to announce the following Indian Council for Cultural Relations’ Scholarships for Year 2025-26:

ii) Atal Bihari Vajpayee General Scholarship Scheme (A1201) for (01) Argentine student: The Scholarship covers Under Graduate/Post Graduate/PhD courses at the 126 reputed Indian Universities/Institutes.

iii) Lata Mangeshkar Dance & Music Scholarship Scheme (A1209) (formerly ICCR Scholarship Scheme for Indian Culture): The Scheme offers 100 Scholarships to foreign students including Argentine and Uruguayan students, for pursuing study of Indian Culture such as Dance, Music, theatre, performing art, sculpture, Indian languages, Indian cuisine, etc. at Indian Universities/Institutes.

2. Aspiring students can apply online through ICCR’s A2A Scholarship portal http://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in . Detailed guidelines on the process for applying along with the procedure and norms governing the same are provided on the A2A portal.

A brief flowchart of the timeline and Scholarship process is given below:

20 February 2025	Opening of Portal for inviting applications from interested candidates.
30 April 2O25	Last date of application to be submitted by students on portal.
23 June 2025	Last date of Universities to inform the decision (if confirmed, intimation to Embassy; if rejected, intimation to students).
7 July 2025	Last date of allocating scholarship and generating an Offer Letter.
14 July 2025	Last date for students to accept or reject offer of scholarship.
21 July 2025	Based on the number of acceptances in the first round (if acceptance are less than the scholarship seats allocated) Indian Embassy to offer scholarship to other students who were not considered in the first round.
25 July 2025	Second-round students to convey their acceptance
