Día del Ayurveda 2026 / Ayurveda Day 2026

Muchas gracias.

Ayurveda Day 2026

English Version

Ladies and gentlemen,

Good afternoon.

It is a great honour for me to join you in this celebration of Ayurveda Day 2026, organized by the Ayurveda Prema Health Foundation, an institution that for decades has made a significant contribution to the dissemination, teaching and development of Ayurveda in Argentina.

This celebration is held in commemoration of Dhanvantari, regarded as the founder of Ayurveda and revered in the Indian tradition as the God of Medicine.

I would like to begin by expressing my special appreciation to Dr. Jorge Luis Berra and to the entire Foundation team for their continued commitment to the exchange of knowledge between India and Argentina.

Ayurveda is one of India's great knowledge traditions and forms part of a heritage that our country continues to share with the world. Its holistic approach understands health as a balance between the body, the mind, lifestyle habits and the environment.

One of the principal contributions of Ayurveda is precisely this preventive and holistic approach to well-being. Its principles promote healthy habits, appropriate nutrition, physical activity, rest, and practices aimed at fostering balance and quality of life.

At the same time, Ayurveda continues to evolve and engage in dialogue with contemporary research and knowledge. For this reason, it is particularly valuable to promote opportunities for education, academic exchange and scientific cooperation that allow this tradition to be understood with seriousness and responsibility.

In this regard, we are especially pleased by the close relationship that the Ayurveda Prema Health Foundation has developed with institutions in India, as well as by the cooperation it maintains with the Embassy of India in Argentina. These ties constitute an important bridge of knowledge and friendship between our two countries.

Today's celebration is therefore much more than a commemoration. It is an opportunity to learn, share experiences and engage with an ancient tradition that continues to be relevant in the contemporary world.

I would like to extend my special thanks to all the professionals, researchers, students and participants who make this celebration possible, and to congratulate the Ayurveda Prema Health Foundation on its continued work.

On behalf of the Embassy of India in the Argentine Republic, I wish you all a very happy Ayurveda Day 2026 celebration.

Thank you very much.
